Person SLASHED on NYC Subway Train in Dispute Over a Seat – Upper East Side

May 4 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – 2 subway passenger was slashed in the face during a dispute over a seat on an Upper East Side subway, police confirmed.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon at Lexington Avenue and East 77 Street station.

According to the NYPD, a verbal dispute resulted in a man striking a 55-year-old male victim in the face and head with a knife.

Investigation is ongoing.
