Bronx Man Gunned Down Outside his Home in Wakefield

April 18, 2023 BRONX, New York – Detectives are searching for the gunman who fired shots at a man, striking the victim multiple times on Hill Avenue between Cranford Avenue & E 241st Street on Tuesday evening, police said.

According to police, just before 11:00pm, officers arrived at 4531 Hill Avenue in the Wakefield section of the Bronx and discovered 32-year-old Aboubacar Drame, who police say was shot several times including the head and shoulder outside of his home in the Bronx.

Officers from the 47th Precinct discovered Drame outside of his home and called for EMS who then rushed the 32-year-old injured man to NYC Health and Hospitals-Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead, cops say.

There are no reported arrests in the fatal shooting of Aboubacar Drame and the investigation is ongoing.
