March 6, 2023 BROOKLYN, New York – A teen male was killed after being stabbed on a subway train in Downtown Brooklyn, said police.
According to police, the teen victim and an additional male allegedly got into verbal dispute on a northbound D train at around 11:30 p.m. late Thursday evening.
Police officials say the dispute escalated and the suspect stabbed the 18-year-old victim in the abdomen onboard subway train. As the train approached the Atlantic Ave Barclays Center station, the altercation then spilled onto the platform, cops said.
The gravely wounded teen was rushed from the subway station by EMS to Methodist Hospital, but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead.






Detectives are searching for the assailant who stabbed the teen with an unknown weapon before fleeing into the station and out to the street level, officials said.
The teen victim has yet to be publicly identified pending a proper family notification. The investigation into the deadly stabbing is ongoing.
