HATE CRIME UNIT Investigating after a Man was Stabbed by Suspects Making Anti-Gay Statements – MANHATTAN

April 05, 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Hate crime unit is investigating after a man was attacked by a group of people in Hells Kitchen, as they shouted Anti-Gay slurs at him, according to police.

Late Wednesday night, just before midnight, a man was attacked by a group of men who were, in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan, officials confirmed.

Police say they received reports of an assault and rushed to the scene reports of a man who was allegedly attacked and stabbed by at least seven males, leaving a bloody sidewalk.

According to police radio transmissions, the male victim was stabbed in the leg when he was being jumped by the group near West 44th St and 10th Avenue in Hells Kitchen neighborhood.

New York police are searching for at least seven outstanding suspects as the investigation into the attack is ongoing.
