Unprovoked Attack: Woman Stabbed Taking Out Garbage by Unknown Man in NYC

March 29, 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – A 32-year-old woman was stabbed during unprovoked attack, by unknown male, while taking out garbage in front of residential building on the evening of March 21st, near E 102nd St & Lexington Avenue, cops said.

According to NYPD, The unknown male displayed a knife, and without and provocation or making any statements, the suspect stabbed the victim in the shoulder with a knife and fled southbound on Lexington Avenue on foot. The victim was rushed by EMS to Mount Sinai where she is listed in serious but stable condition.

Police from the 23rd precinct located the injured woman who was stabbed in the upper arm, shoulder, outside a Harlem deli and grocery (El Tepey ac Food-Market: Carniceria, Grocery & Taqueria) located on Lexington between E 102nd and E 103rd street, in East Harlem.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in photos below who is wanted for questioning in regards to the stabbing. The individual last seen wearing a black leather jacket, with a grey hoodie, black mask, black shirt, blue jeans and clear hand gloves inside subway station in close proximity to the assault incident.
