Man Dies Two Weeks after Brutal Machete Attack at a Laundromat

March 29 2023 VALLEY STREAM , New York: Victim has succumbed to his injuries after spending two weeks at a local hospital following a machete attack in Long Island Laundromat.

Victim was found stabbed with a large amount of blood loss and rushed to an area hospital in traumatic arrest, officials said.

The victim, 58-year-old Michael Oliver, was pronounced dead two weeks after the incident, on March 28th, at the Hospital.

A 30-year-old Roberto Velasquez was arrested shortly after the incident, police say on initial charges of second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault. unclear at this time when charges may be updated surround the death of the victim.

Brutal attack happened on march 13th around 3:30am early morning at the Laundry Palace at 15 W. Merrick Road.
