March 05, 2023 Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York – One person was killed and two others left with critical injuries after a small, single-engine plane crashed in a Long Island suburb on Sunday afternoon, officials said.
One person reportedly died and two others sustained life threatening injuries after the small piper plane crashed into a wooded behind several homes and near train tracks in North Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York.
Dozens of Emergency personnel and federal agencies responded to the scene of the plane crash. The single-engine Piper PA 28 aircraft crashed around 3p.m. during approach to Republic Airport in Farmingdale, New York, officials said.







The Federal Aviation Administration and the NTSB is investigating the fatal crash that occurred in North Lindenhurst, near Wellwood Avenue and 4th Street, just a few miles from Republic Airport in Farmingdale.
