February 26 2023 NEW YORK CITY, New York – Two people have been shot in Queens, another person shot and killed in the Bronx and two people were stabbed in Brooklyn overnight across NYC Boroughs.
Police say two people were shot in Far Rockaway neighborhood of Queens, around 4am this Sunday morning. A 22-year-old woman was shot in the right foot and a 35-year-old man was shot in the left leg, after an alleged fight that started inside a home, ending up on the street, according to officials..
Incident happened near Beach 100th St. and Rockaway Beach Blvd, both victims were rushed to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
Just around 12:30am, only three hours earlier, two people were stabbed in Brooklyn at Parade Place and Canton Avenue.
A 30-year-old man was left in life threatening condition after being stabbed in the torso during an alleged dispute, police said. He was rushed to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition.
A 35-year-old man was also stabbed during the altercation, victim is currently in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
Late on Saturday evening, around 11pm a man was shot and killed on a Bronx street on Sheridan Avenue.
Police say 29-year-old was shot to the chest and head near Sheridan and Marcy place.
The victim was rushed by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Lincoln where he was pronounced dead. There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
