Man Shot and Killed a Block from Times Square during Rush Hour

February 9 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – A 22-year-old man was shot and killed on a busy street in Midtown Manhattan on Thursday afternoon.

Police rushed to reports of a man shot around 5:37pm on West 44th Street and 8th Avenue in Hells Kitchen neighborhood.

Firs responders found a wounded man, victim was shot to the right side of his chest and was rushed to Mt Sinai West hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.

There have been no arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
