Two Kids and School Guard SHOT outside of Williamsburg Highschool

February 8 2023 BROOKLYN, New York – Two teens and a school security guard were injured in a shooting outside of Williamsburg high school after an alleged fight on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

Police rushed to Williamsburg Charter High School at 198 Varet St. after reports of “shots fired”, just after 2 p.m., officials confirmed.

Police say two teens were among the injured. A 15 year old girl was shot and left with a non-life-threatening injuries. While a 17-year-old boy was shot in left thigh, both taken to Bellevue Hospital.

A 37-year-old male school security guard was grazed by a bullet and taken to Elmhurst Hospital, said police.

According to police officials, shots were fired following a fight.

Two teens and security guard were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition, police said.
