February 06, 2023 BROOKLYN, New York – A 20-year-old man is dead after police say he was shot multiple times in broad daylight in Canarsie Monday morning.
Police say the 20-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the back and both arms near Paerdegat 1 St & E 79th St in Canarsie, Brooklyn.
EMS responded to the scene and the gravely injured male was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where police officials say the victim was pronounced dead.
According to authorities, just before 10:30am, police from the 69th precinct responded to reports of a man shot and left with life threatening injuries at 56 Paerdegat 1st Street in Brooklyn.
Detectives are searching for a group of individuals wanted for questioning in regards to the fatal shooting. At this time there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
