Vigil Held in Monterey Park After 11 Died in Mass Shooting at local Dance Studio

January 23 2023 Monterey Park, CALIFORNIA – community members gathered to mourn and rally at a vigil for victims of Monterey Park mass shooting.

Group gathered on Tuesday evening at City Hall in Monterey Park to mourn the victims of a tragic mass shooting at Lunar New Year event at a local dance Studio, which left 11 dead and several others injured.

Suspect still at large, believed to be heavily armed.

Capt. Andrew Meyer of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department who has joined with local PD to assist, said that the injured were rushed to hospitals and their conditions range from stable to critical. 10 people have died at the scene and the numbers may rise, officials added.
