15-year-old Boy Found Dead at Bronx Home after Alleged dispute with Stepfather

January 24 2023 BRONX, New York – A 15-year-old boy was found dead at Bronx home after an alleged dispute with his step father, said police.

Officers were dispatched to the home on Doris Street early Wednesday morning, after a 911 caller reported an unresponsive male. EMS rushed the unconscious and unresponsive 15-year-old boy to a hospital where he did not survive and was pronounced dead, cops said.

According to police officials, the teenage victim was found with trauma to his neck area. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

A 28-year-old male, allegedly the teen’s stepfather, is being questioned in regard to this incident.

The teen boy returned home from school Monday afternoon and police say a dispute occurred where the boys stepfather allegedly put his hands on teen’s neck.

Police are currently investigating to determine if it was a case of self defense or a criminal act, according to authorities.
