Man Gunned Down Inside Bronx Deli

December 18th, 2022 Bronx, New York – Angel Cuasant, 26, was killed after a barrage of gunfire was unleashed by a dangerous perpetrator inside a Bronx deli Sunday morning, police said.

Officers arrived at the business to find Cuasant heavily bleeding with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The 26-year-old Bronx man was rushed by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police were called at around 11:15 a.m. to the Briggs Gourmet Deli at 2650 Briggs Avenue in Fordham Manor section of the Bronx for reports of shots fired.

It’s unknown at this time if the two individuals knew each other before the deadly encounter where an alleged dispute led to gunfire.

NYPD is on the hunt for a gunman last seen leaving the shooting location wearing a dark colored mask.

No arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
