Dignified Transport for Hero Firefighter to Donate Organs Following Fatal Accident

December 17 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – Dignified transfer was held for fallen Firefighter William Moon II, who suffered fatal head injury preparing for drill at his Brooklyn Fire house this Monday.

Moon, 47-years-old, was a 21-year veteran of the FDNY. He was fatally hurt while preparing for a drill at his fire house, injuring his head, he was rushed to Kings County Hospital. Where he succumbed to his injuries later in the week.

This Saturday afternoon, Moon was transported from Kings County hospital to NYU after his family made the decision to donate his organs “to save the lives of others.”
