Woman Found Dead in Brooklyn Fire in November – Deemed a Homicide

December 14 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – A 40-year-old woman who was found dead in Brooklyn Fire in November, has been deemed a homicide victim by the NYPD.

Sugerys Ramirez, 40-year-old female, was unconscious and unresponsive, inside of apartment following a fire on November 11th 2022, officials say.

Fire broke out around 3:57am, on a Friday morning in November, inside of 124 Van Siclen Avenue, Cypress Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn, fire officials confirmed.

Upon arrival and extinguishment of the fire by FDNY personnel, the victim wss discovered and pronounced dead.

There are no arrests at this time.
