December 13 2022 – MANHATTAN, New York: A woman was slashed on the face in an assault at 42nd-Times Square Station on Tuesday night.
Police say they responded to the assault at approximately 11:49pm, at the 42nd street station on the 7 line.
Upon arrival, officers located a woman with a laceration to the face and EMS was requested to the scene to help the victim.
According to police radio transmissions, at least two people were taken into custody on the scene, regarding the assault.
Slashing occurred on the mezzanine between the 7 line and the 1,2,3 line at the Times Square Subway station. Two people were seen detained and questioned, however it is not known if they are connected to the incident.
