Broadway fans in Gershwin Alley on Sunday afternoon spoke ahead of the final performance “KPOP” Broadway Musical as the show comes to an abrupt end after only 2 weeks after opening.
The show struggled to fill seats even as it received acclaim for bringing including on Broadway to the AIP and BIPOC community.
Those who did attend felt like doing so made them part of history as the show had such a short run, but they considered it to be a milestone in the theater industry.
KPOP is a Broadway musical with a book by Jason Kim and music and lyrics by Helen Park and Max Vernon.
Some of the performers are Min, Kevin Woo, Abraham Lim and Luna.
