December 8 2022 BRONX, New York – Major rescue as two people fell down an elevator shaft at a Target store in the Bronx early Thursday morning.
A 29-year-old target employee and loss prevention officer was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with a 17-year-old male when they rammed an elevator door causing it to close. The pair fell several story’s down an elevator shaft at a Target store in the Bronx, police said.




Initial reports said one victim was unconscious, however both victims were rescued and appeared alert, according to witnesses.
Police say the rescued victims are recovering at the hospital.
Firefighters were seen performing a rescue operation, pulling one of the victims from the bottom of the elevator shaft at the Shopping center.
Incident happened at 700 Exterior Street. at Bronx Terminal Market around 12pm, officials confirmed.
