December 03, 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – A five-alarm fire raged through the early morning ours at a apartment building in Manhattan’s Hamilton Heights neighborhood, leaving at least nine people injured.
Officials say at least 9 people injured including 7 firefighters and 2 civilians ,none of the injuries are life threatening at this time.
Fire was reported just after 1:30a.m., on the West side of Manhattan at 617 W 141st Street at a 6-Story large apartment complex, officials confirmed.
As the fire ripped through the roof, creating an inferno, the thick smoke spreading through the neighborhood activated building’s fire alarms across the nearby streets.




The raging 5-Alarm fire was brought under control just before 5:30am this Saturday morning and officials are investigating to determine the cause.
At another fire that broke out earlier in Bay Ridge neighborhood in Brooklyn, one person was taken away in a critical condition.
Brooklyn Fire was reported at approximately 2:20 a.m., at 7420 Ridge Boulevard, at a corner apartment to the rear of the structure. First responders rushed to the scene where one person was pulled out of the building with CPR in progress.
The fire was quickly knocked down and the condition of the victim is currently unknown.
