November 20 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – Activists group Gays Against Guns held a vigil and a rally outside of the Stonewall Inn, in New York City, in remembrance of the victims injured and killed in the mass shooting early this morning.
“Waking up and hearing that there was another shooting, five people dead and so many more injured. It’s yet another reminder about how unbelievably exposed we are as a community. We are so exposed to people with guns and it’s just being ginned up by all this hatred and bigotry and lies being spewed by the Republican Party and the far right on Twitter and Fox News, it’s got stop.”

Police say that 18 were people shot, 5 killed, in a mass shooting at Colorado Springs gay club – Q Club.
The Shooting at Colorado Springs gay club happened around 11:57pm late Saturday night, when a gunman entered the club, opening fire.
Authorities have identified the man who allegedly shot and killed people at the Q Club in Colorado Springs as Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22-year-old.
Club Q in Colorado Springs has issued a statement following a deadly mass shooting.
According to their page, they were scheduled to have an All Ages Drag Queen Brunch this morning


Drag Brunches, Drag Story hour and other Drag events have been the target of increased threats from various groups and accounts.
“At least two heroic people inside the club confronted and fought with the suspect and were able to stop the suspect from continuing to kill and harm others,” Colorado Springs police said in press conference.




It is not known if it was a hate crime at this time, according to officials, but it’s been investigated as such at this time.
Police are investigating, including suspect’s previous run ins with the law.
