Four People are Injured After a Heavy 2-alarm Fire in Brooklyn

November 19, 2022 BROOKLYN New York – Early Saturday afternoon around 1:45pm, FDNY firefighters responded to a heavy house fire near Pitkin Avenue & Crescent Street in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn.

EMS on scene reported at least four people sustained non life threatening injuries during the fire. All four injured were transported to area hospitals.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and pockets of fire that extended into the attic.

The official cause of the fire has yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
