November 14 2022 – MANHATTAN, New York – Multiple people arrested as clashes happened outside of NYC City Hall between Trans Activists, Police and ‘Let Women Speak’ Rally attendees.
Trans Rights Activists faced off with NYPD, private security and what they described as “TERF Rally” outside NYC City Hall on Monday afternoon.
Rally was eventually called off, citing safety concerns.
At least 7 people were arrested as 100 Counter-protesters gathered to shut down the event that was part of a national tour called ‘Let Women Speak’.
According to dictionary.com website, TERF is a trans-exclusionary radical feminist, which they define as an advocate of radical feminism who believes that a trans woman’s gender identity is not legitimate and who is hostile to the inclusion of trans people and gender-diverse people in the feminist movement
