Man killed with Wooden Board in Corona Queens, Following a Dispute

November 13 2022 QUEENS, New York – A man was assaulted with a wooden board during an assault in Queens has now died from his injuries, police say.

Incident happened just after 2am on an early Sunday morning, in front of 43-15 Junction Boulevard in Corona neighborhood of Queens.

Police found a 23-year-old man with a severe head injury after he was allegedly assaulted with a wooden board, officials said.

First responders transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead.

A preliminary investigation determined that the victim was in a dispute with a large group, when one of the men struck the him in the head with a wooden board, police said.

The group then fled the scene, there are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
