People Injured as Car Crash Into Busy Panera Bread in Little Neck, Queens

November 09, 2022 QUEENS , New York: Car crashed into the busy Panera bread on Long Island, injuring multiple people.

“The entire car was in the restaurant”, an eyewitness described the harrowing scene as they were inside the restaurant,
“I thought a bomb went off”, “she started crawling away”.

At approximately 4:06pm on Wednesday afternoon, police responded to Panera Bread for reports of a car that crashed into the storefront at 254-37 Horace Harding Expressway near the Long Island Expressway, in Little Neck, Queens.


Eyewitnesses said that a woman in her 40s or 50s was the driver of the car and that she was with two others at the time, none of whom appeared to be seriously injured.

According to police, a woman was transported to an area hospital by emergency responders.
