Three People Shot in Deli Near Jamaica LIRR Station in Queens

October 30, 2022 – Queens, New York – Three people were seriously injured following a midday shooting that occurred at a Deli near the Jamaica LIRR station, on Sunday afternoon in Queens, police said.

Just before 2:00pm shots rang out inside the Deli and Grocery near the intersection of 91st Avenue and Sutphin Boulevard where 103rd precinct police say a 24-year-old man shot in the torso and a 29-year-old man along with a 21-year-old woman were shot in the lower back.

All three victims are expected to survive their injuries after being rushed to Jamaica Hospital for further treatment, cops said.

The suspect fled northbound on 146th St and there are no arrests at this time. The investigation into the triple shooting in Queens is ongoing.

Just a few hours later and a mile away, another shooting had occurred in the Jamaica neighborhood of queens.

According to police, man was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital after being shot at least twice in the abdomen near 165th St & Jamaica Ave in Queens.

Suspects fled the scene in a sedan, no arrests at this time, police said.
