October 27 2022 MANHATTAN New York – A man was shot and killed, another injured, when a shooting broke out at a NYCHA complex in East Village Thursday night, police say.
Incident happened insde the lobby of an East Village public housing complex just around 7:30pm on East 12th Street and Avenue C, officials said.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the torso and a 24-year-old man was hit in the left leg, according to NYPD.
Both victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital, the 21-year-old victim was pronounced dead, according to officials.
