Woman Found Dead in Storage Bin outside of Staten Island Home

October 21, 2022 Staten Island, New York: Just before 6:00am, police arrived and found a partially clothed woman dead in a storage bin located outside and near the driveway of a home on Staten Island.

Police from the 121st precinct responded to 911 calls for the unusual incident where officers found the unresponsive female who police say is believed to be in her 30s, stuffed inside of a large storage bin, at 245 Heberton Avenue in the Port Richmond neighborhood on Staten Island.

According to police officials, the woman was found topless inside of a plastic storage bin not large enough to fit her body. The female was wrapped in a blanket and found visibly sticking out of the bin, cops said.

EMS pronounced the unidentified female dead at the scene and the medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death. At this time there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
