October 18 2022 QUEENS, New York – Enormous 4-Alarm Fire devoured a Long Island City LIC Factory early Tuesday morning.
Heavy flames erupted from the roof of commercial laundromat on 30th Street just around 2:30 a.m., quickly growing to four-alarm.
As the fire spread through the factory, more businesses caught flames.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries, officials said.



Incident was reported as a hazmat operation due to laundrymat chemicals and propane. Neighbors were advised to close their windows as thick smoke spread.
