October 12 2022 MANHATTAN A, New York – A 26-year-old woman was “seen jumping” to her death from a Midtown hotel’s rooftop bar on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
Police say that the woman was at Bar 54, which is located on the 54th floor of the Hyatt Centric Hotel on West 45th Street and 7th Avenue. Incident occured at around 3:30 p.m., woman fell 27 floors down, hitting a balcony, police said.
According to reports, the woman walked out onto the terrace and stood up on a piece of furniture next to a railing, jumping down.
Victim was found unconscious and unresponsive and pronounced at the scene.
