October 6 2022 New York City, New York – NYPD Vehicle struck a group of ten people in the Bronx, sending at least four pedestrians to a hospital with life threatening injuries, officials said.
10 people were seriously injured including a 65-year-old man being the oldest injured and a 5-year-old child as the youngest injured.
Car was allegedly on its way to an assignment when it was cut off in traffic, resulting in the driver hitting the pedestrians, according to sources.
Police say Officer in the NYPD Car were enroute to a vehicle theft report, with lights and sirens on, according to police. Witnesses stated that car drove through red lights.
At approximately 3:03p.m., four pedestrians including a child were struck by an NYPD vehicle and critically injured at Hoe Avenue and Westchester Avenue in the Bronx, police vehicle was seen on the corner, crashed.



According to police at least three of the victims have sustained life-threatening injuries, all being rushed to a local hospital for further treatment.

Early afternoon in Manhattan, a person was seriously injured and has died after being struck by a box truck in the middle of Midtown on Thursday afternoon morning.
Police received a report of a person struck by a truck on 8th Avenue and 44th street just around 11:30am.
Police found victim under a truck, in the cross walk, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are not known at this time.





At approximately 7:48a.m., in Middle Village neighborhood of Queens, police responded to 911 calls of a pedestrian struck near 85th St & Eliot Ave.
Upon their arrival officers located a seriously injured person that was appeared to have been removed from underneath a vehicle by the first responders and the FDNY, Police say. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
At approximately 8:44am in Brooklyn, 81-Year-Old Woman Struck by DSNY GARBAGE TRUCK Seriously Injured. Police responded to 84th Street & 15th Avenue in Brooklyn where According to police the woman was struck in cross walk by the driver of a DSNY garbage truck. The elderly woman was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
At approximately 12:10p.m., FDNY and Police say they responded to Union Street and Hoyt Street in Brooklyn, where a young child was struck by a vehicle. Victim’s injuries are not known at this time.
