October 04, 2022 – MANHATTAN, New York: A 31-year-old man was involved in an altercation with another man and was slashed inside a Times Square subway station late Tuesday evening. The wounded victim who was slashed in the leg was transported by EMS to Bellevue Hospital and listed in stable condition, cops said.
Just before 11 p.m., an altercation between two people turned violent when one man brandished a weapon and slashed the victim in the leg, resulting in serious but not life threatening injuries. According to police, the incident took place near the grand central shuttle train inside the subway station.
Police requested additional units to assist in searching for the suspect who fled on a train headed toward Grand Central.
Police say at this time there are no arrests in regards to the violent incident and the investigation is ongoing.
