63-year-old Man Struck and Killed by a Car Driver in Brooklyn

October 04 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – A 63-year-old man was struck and killed by a car in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning.

Incident was reported at approximately 6:58am, 90th precinct police responded to reports of a person struck by a vehicle and critically injured near the intersection of Bedford Ave & Flushing Ave in Brooklyn.

According to police, a 63-year-old male pedestrian was struck when the driver of the Box truck attempted to make a left turn from Flushing Avenue onto Bedford Avenue. The box truck driver remained on scene and was taken into custody with charges pending, according to sources.

The 63-year-old victim was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
