Two People Shot Inside Canarsie Supermarket

NYPD Detectives in Brooklyn are searching for the perpetrator who shot and wounded a man and woman inside a Canarsie Supermarket on Sunday evening.

According to police, a 22-year-old Deli worker of the market was shot in his right ankle, during the gunfire that began just before 8:30p.m. inside of the Supermarket and Deli on Oct. 2 at 10421 Glenwood Road in Canarsie, Brooklyn

69th precinct police responded to the shooting and found two injured victims at the scene including a 23-year-old woman, who was shot in the stomach.

The pair of victims were rushed by EMS to Brookdale University Hospital, where they were last listed in stable condition, police said.

Detectives are searching for a suspect that fled the shooting in a dark colored sedan. At this time there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
