October 2 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – Detectives are seeking information on five possible witnesses who are wanted for questioning at this time following the gruesome discovery of the dismembered body of 22-year-old Brooklyn woman D’Asia Johnson.

On September 21, 2022, Police discovered suit cases packed with the dismembered human remains of a young 22-year-old woman inside a apartment unit located in the Cypress Hill neighborhood Brooklyn.
Police described the persons of interest as:
Individual # 1 is described as a female, medium complexion, approximately 20 to 25 years of age, slim build, black hair and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red shirt, black pants, blacks shoes and last seen carrying a black book bag.
Individual # 2 is described as a female, dark complexion, approximately 18 to 25 years of age, slim build, red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with writing affixed to the front of it, dark colored pants and wearing a nose ring.
Individual # 3 is described as a female, medium complexion, approximately 30 years of age, slim build and black hair. She was last seen wearing a multicolored dress and white crocs.
Individual # 4 is described as a female, dark complexion, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, medium build, short black and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, white pants, slippers and carrying a blue purse.
Individual # 5 is described as a female, medium complexion, approximately 18 to 25 years of age, heavy build, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tank top with stripes, gray pants and slippers.
Individual # 6 is described as a male, light complexion, approximately 30 years of age and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, camo pants, dark colored shoe and a tan baseball hat.
Multiple Suitcases with body parts were found in a sixth-floor apartment on Linwood St. near Atlantic. According to Daily News, neighbors complained of a foul odor and stated that a female who lives in the apartment has been missing for a few days.



Police determined that remains belonged to a 22-year-old woman, after they went to the apartment for a wellness check at 1:38pm Wednesday afternoon.
Medical examiner and police are on the scene, investigating.
