Innocent Bystander Shot inside Royal Chicken Restaurant in Brooklyn

October 02, 2022 – Brooklyn, New York – A woman, who was an innocent bystander, was shot when a gunfire broke out at Royal Chicken Restaurant in Brooklyn.

Incident was reported at approximately 5:15 a.m., as officers responded to 496 Rockaway Parkway, for shots fired inside a Royal Chicken Restaurant. Police say gunfire broke out after a dispute between a group of unknown males, escalating and resulting in a 35-year-old woman getting shot in her wrist, officials said.

According to police, the victim was not related to the group fighting.

The victim made her way over to Brookdale Hospital down the block, by private means, as a walk-in victim and is listed in stable condition, police said. At this time there are no arrests in regards to the shooting incident and the investigation is ongoing.
