17-year-old Girl Shot and Killed when Gunman Opens Fire into a Crowd in Crown Heights Brooklyn

September 28 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – A 17-year-old girl was shot in the face and killed after a gunman fired into a group of people she was in, officials say.

Police say that after firing into the crowd, suspects fled the shooting location on foot on Rochester Avenue.

Incident occured near 1225 Eastern Pkwy in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, just after 6pm on Wednesday evening.

NYPD Detectives are searching for at least two suspects and at this time there are no arrests. The investigation into the deadly shooting is ongoing.
