September 21 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – A child on a kick scooter was hit by a car and left in critical condition in Brooklyn Wednesday evening, police said.
The child was riding a kick scooter around 8p.m., when they were hit by a vehicle near 81st Street and 19th Avenue in Bensonhurst part of Brooklyn, according to officials.
The child sustained a head trauma, EMS rushed the victim to a local hospital where they are in critical, but stable condition.
