One Person Slashed another Shot at NYC Subway Stations in Two Separate Incidents Withing 1 Hour

September 21 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – A person was slashed with a razor on a Barclay’s Terminal Subway station Wednesday evening, police described the incident as serious assault.

At approximately 6:16pm, 75th precinct police responded to calls of a serious assault in transit at Atlantic Ave-Barclays Station in Brooklyn, officials said. Upon arrival, officers located a seriously wounded person slashed on the face with a razor, police said.

Police are searching for a suspect that fled the scene. No arrests at this time.

Just an hour later, at approximately 7:07pm, police responded to calls of shots fired in transit at the Grant Ave Station near Grant Ave & Pitkin Ave in Brooklyn.

Upon arrival officers located a wounded man who was shot in the thigh while on a subway platform, officials said.

According to police, the victim is expected to survive his injuries. NYPD officers are searching for a suspect that fled the scene. No arrests at this time.
