55-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death in Queens

September 19, 2022 | Queens, New York: Just before 3:00am, NYPD officials say a 55-year-old man was stabbed multiple times and killed by an acquaintance who was reportedly outside on a Queens street having drinks with the victim before the early morning interaction turned violent.

EMS responded to the scene near 69th Street & Roosevelt Avenue in the Woodside neighborhood and rushed the victim to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Officers from the 108th Precinct responded to 911 calls of an assault near the intersection of 69th St. and Roosevelt Avenue. Upon officers arrival at the scene they located a critically wounded 55-year-old man with stab wounds to the torso.

At this time there are no arrests. According to police, the armed attacker fled on foot with the alleged murder weapon. The investigation into the fatal stabbing is ongoing.
