28-Year-Old Man Killed, Three Others Wounded in Queens Multiple Shooting

September 18, 2022 | Queens, New York: A 28-year-old man is dead after gunfire rang out in Elmhurst, Queens also leaving three additional gunshot victims seriously injured, said police.

EMS rushed all four gunshot victims to Elmhurst Hospital where the 28-year-old did not survive his injuries, officials said.

The additional victims suffered various wounds to the body. One individual was shot in the left arm along with a graze wound to the face. The second victim was shot in the left hand. And a third gunshot victim was struck in the chest. According to authorities, the hospitalized trio are expected to survive their injuries.

The incident occurred just before 1:40pm, 110th precinct police responded to 911 calls of shots fired near 41st Ave & Warren Street. Upon arrival police located 4 males shot, one with life threatening injuries who later died at the hospital.

Detectives are searching for at least two male suspects that fled southbound down Warren street on a moped, police said. At this time there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
