Two People Shot, One Killed in Brooklyn as they Tried To Sell a Car

September 17 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – Police say a 24-year-old man was shot and killed after two people were struck by gunfire in Brooklyn early Saturday morning.

A 24-year-old male victim was shot in the chest, and left with life threatening injuries. The seriously wounded man did not did not survive the gunshot to the chest and was pronounced dead a short time later, according to officials.

According police, both shooting victims were taken to SUNY Downstate Medical Center by private transportation. The 29-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the left leg remains hospitalized and is listed in stable condition, cops said.

Incident occured around 2:30a.m., two men were shot as they allegedly were trying to sell a BMW on Glenwood road and Brooklyn Avenue, according to News12.

Detectives are searching for at least two suspects who let off a barrage of gunfire on the victims before fleeing in the victims BMW and in the Grey colored Toyota SUV they arrived in.

At this time there are no arrests in the double shooting and the investigation remains ongoing.
