September 16 2022 BRONX, New York – Prince McMichael, 27, was stabbed multiple times and killed on a Bronx street late Friday evening. Just around 9:46p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress near Bruckner Boulevard and Wilkinson Avenue, in the Bronx.

“The only thing that I seen was, the kid was being chased by three other kids. He ran, I thought he got away because he was running fast, but by the time I got through two lights and made the left, he was laying at the middle of the street bleeding out. I blocked him in with my van so cars behind me wouldn’t run him over. walk by them over and I dialed 911.
So it was a stabbing, from the bus stop. The altercation happened on the bus but then it took place right off the bus at the bus stop.
Then I guess they stabbed him and he ran.
I thought, I thought he got away from them. I thought he got away from them because he was running so fast.
I didn’t even realize that he was stabbed until I make the left turn at the light and he was laying down and I blocked, I blocked my car around him so another car wouldn’t run him over.
And then I dialed 911. So it was an altercation between him and a group of young kids.
Then when they did that to him, they jumped back on the bus and I guess the cops went to go track down the bus” said the witness and 911 caller about the deadly stabbing.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
