20-Year-Old in Critical Condition after Bronx Multiple Shooting

September 11, 2022 | Bronx, New York: Two men were shot in Westchester Square early Sunday morning in the Bronx. A 20-year-old man suffered life threatening injuries after being shot in the neck following a physical altercation that turned violent. The incident occurred at a party rental hall in the Bronx, police said.

At approximately 6:36am, 45th precinct police responded to 911 calls of a multiple shooting in Westchester Square at 2368 Zerega Avenue and located a 34-year-old man, with a non life threatening gunshot wound to the right leg, police said. The 34-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

According to police, the 20-year-old victim arrived at a nearby hospital as a walk-in, with serious injuries and is currently fighting for his life.

At this time there are no arrests and the investigation into the critical shooting is ongoing.
