Two Cars struck by Gunfire on Williamsburg Bridge, Mother Shot

September 3 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – Two cars were struck by gunfire on Williamsburg Bridge, Mother Shot in the neck.

A 21-year-old mother who was in a car with her husband and child, was taken to NYC Health+ Hospitals Elmhurst Trauma Center after getting hit by a stray bullet.

Gunfire shot through the side of their Dodge Dart as the mother was sitting the front passenger seat and was grazed in the neck, police said. Gunfire also hit the seats headrest and narrowly missed the four year-old daughter who was sitting in the backseat, officials shared.

Around the same time, another car was also hit by a bullet on the Williamsburg bridge, the driver said he heard something, stopped to check his car for damage and and discovered a bullet hole on the side of his SUV.
