30-Year-Old Man Killed, Two Others Wounded after Triple Shooting in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn

September 05, 2022 | Brooklyn, New York: Shortly after midnight, two men where shot in the chest and another in the leg after gunfire erupted near the Sheepshead-Nostrand Houses at 2231 Batchelder Street in Brooklyn. Police said a 28-year-old man and 30-year-old were both severely injured. An additional 30-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the leg.

At approximately 12:25am, 61st precinct police responded to reports of shots fired in the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn.

According to NYPD Officials, one of the two men shot in the chest was unresponsive as police first arrived on scene. Officers located the pair of victims with life threatening injuries and advised that EMS rushed the two males shot in the chest to NYU Langone Hospital where the 30-year-old male shot in the chest was pronounced dead and the 28-year-old is now listed in stable condition. cops said.

According to authorities, the third victim, a 30-year old man is expected to survive after taking gunfire to the right leg was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he is listed in stable condition, police said.

Officers requested all available units to aid in the search for ballistic evidence where one man was shot dead and two others were injured. At this time there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
