August 31 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – Two people were stabbed in separate and unprovoked attacks, half an hour apart and only few blocks away from each other in Hell’s Kitchen part of Manhattan.
Incidents happened on a Wednesday night, according to police, they were carried out by the same suspect.
A 28-year-old man, was stabbed once in the back on West 50th Street and 11th Avenue, around 7:21 p.m., police said.
The second victim, a 27-year-old woman, was stabbed once in the chest on West 47th Street and 10th Avenue, around 8p.m., police said.
The victims were taken to local hospital and are expected to survive.
A woman was seen getting arrested two blocks away from the scene, it is unknown if arrest was related at this time.
