Two Cops fire Shots at Alleged Gunman Threatening People in the Bronx

August 30 2022 BRONX, New York – Officials say that two officers are in the hospital after exchanging gunfire with a man who was allegedly threatening people in the Bronx Tuesday evening.

Nobody was shot and the gunman fled the scene, according to officials.

Incident happened near East 166th Street and Third Avenue in the Morrisania part of the Bronx just around 5:25 p.m.

Police say that two officers discovered a man with a gun, who was allegedly “mannacing” people passing by on the street.

Police say when they approached the suspect, he fired the weapon one time, both officers returned fire.

Cops were taken to a local hospital to be evaluated for “ringing in the ears”
