August 30, 2022 – Newark, New Jersey – One person is dead after three people were shot in Newark part of New Jersey early Tuesday morning.
Incident reported at approximately 12:55 a.m. as shots fired at Mitchell Place and Ross Street.
Police found a large number of casings on the ground and moments later received reports of three gunshot victims related to the scene who arrived at Beth Israel Medical Center.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the hospital while two additional victims remain in critical condition.
According to RLS Media, Elizabeth Police discovered a burned car that may have been the suspect’s vehicle.
