August 27, 2022 BRONX, New York – Two people were shot, one killed on Bronx Street while in their car, early Saturday morning.
Police got called to a report of two people shot, shortly after midnight near East 170 Street and College Avenue, in the Bronx.
Police say they found two people shot inside a car. A 37-year-old female was found shot in the head in the driver’s seat, a 43-year-old male victim in the front passenger seat, was shot in the left leg, according to officials.



EMS responded and transported the female victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police say. Male victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
Few hours later, just after 4a.m., police responded to a call regarding a person shot on East Burnside Ave & Grand Concourse road in the Bronx.
Police arriving on the scene, found three people shot, requested EMS, however due to back log, the victims where transported to the hospital by police in the the police car, according to scanners.
Police say that a 22-year-old male victim was shot in the head and left in critical condition. A 25-year-old male victim was shot in the leg and a 22-year-old male victim was shot in the back
Police have a suspect in custody, according to officials.
